- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Shortage of staff. More than half of counters are closed. People are not there. Long waiting in line. Not at all organized. To visit this place you need to spend all day. Why can't we hire more people, there are millions of people looking for jobs. When will Texas governments improve their service. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I just moved here from Florida. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I understand that they have to move through people to keep the line going but when I'm asked to pay $200.00 it would be nice to have some sort of break down before I hand over $200.00. The older woman Jessie, made it seem like I was asking her to spin the earth. I actually had to come back that same morning to have them fix my name and address because she input it wrong. It was her mistake but had the most nasty attitude about it. Her boss came over to fix it and you would've thought I was the one that made the mistake because of the huffing and puffing between these two!! - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've been here approximately 5-7 times on the last couple of years for property taxes / vehicle registration and renewal... Every single time the staff has been friendly and kind. Its always the same people, and they seem very efficient and knowledgeable about what they're doing. Its much better than some of the others I've gone to before... If you live in the Garland area and don't want to have to wait in line for 2 hours, this is a great place to go. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The 1st lady that helped me told me I needed some specific papers so I left and came back and the 2nd lady said I needed more papers and after speaking to both of them of what papers I REALLY needed, the final lady denied my service because I was a paper.
